Boy Scout Troops 35 and 530 will cover the entire city on Saturday, December 29th and January 5th to pick up Christmas trees for recycling. Trees need to be curbside by 8:00 a.m. and will be picked up between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. both days.

The suggested donation is $12 for smaller trees (6 feet and under) and $17 for larger trees.  If you do not receive an envelope with information, please make checks payable to BSA, or Troop 530, and place in an envelope attached to the tree.

If preferred, a Scout can knock on your door when they pick up your tree to prevent theft of payment.  A drop-off site will also be set up both days in the north parking lot of Tualatin High School, 22300 S.W. Boones Ferry Road.

The funds raised help with outdoor activities such as camping and hiking and also help individual Scouts earn their way to summer camp.  For more information, call or text Troop 530/Troop 35 at 503-389-5775.
