Garden Corner Concept Study Begins in October

Since the establishment of the Ibach CIO in October 2011, no issue has commanded more attention and resident complaints than the dangerous conditions in the Garden Corner Curves (105th, Blake and 108th). The roadway through the Curves undulates significantly, providing short to non-existent sight lines, and contains no bike or pedestrian facilities. As the only alternative to Boones Ferry for direct north-south travel into or out of the Ibach CIO, the Curves see a considerable volume of traffic of both residents and drivers seeking to avoid congestion on other roadways. Residents brave enough to walk, jog or bike through the Curves have many stories about near misses with drivers, and homeowners in the Curves have repeatedly experienced property damage from vehicle accidents.
