June 29: 10:05 a.m. – A 33-year-old man was arrested at Fred Meyer for third-degree theft after being caught shoplifting. He was cited and released. 

June 30: 4:32 a.m. – A 40-year-old woman was arrested in the 6700 block of SW Nyberg Street on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and second-degree criminal mischief after breaking into the Oregon Dog Rescue building. 

July 1: 9:17 p.m. – A 43-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (heroin), felony attempting to elude police, criminal possession of a forged instrument and had drug paraphernalia seized following a traffic stop at the intersection of SW Stafford Road and Interstate 205. 

July 3: 12:09 a.m. – A 42-year-old man was arrested on charges of second-degree assault and probation violation following a physical disturbance in the parking lot of apartments in the 8300 block of SW Mohawk St. 

5:47 p.m. – A 32-year-old man was arrested on Interstate 5 northbound at milepost 288 for driving under the influence (felony), driving while suspended, reckless driving, recklessly endangering another person and violating probation. 

11:52 p.m.: A 46-year-old man was arrested in the 19600 block of SW 65th Ave. on charges of menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct after threatening two other men with what they thought was a rifle. 

July 4: 12:19 a.m. – A 42-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence and recklessly endangering at the intersection of SW Boones Ferry Road and SW Ibach Court. 

July 5: 2:19 p.m. –  A 31-year-old man was arrested on charges of felony attempting to elude, hit-and-run, reckless driving and driving while suspended (felony) or revoked near the intersection of SW Pacific Highway at SW Pacific Drive. This followed a lengthy chase that started near the intersection of SW 89th Ave. and Tualatin Sherwood Road. The pursuit reached speeds of up to 80 mph as it reached SW Pacific Highway. It reached the intersection of SW Pacific Hwy and SW Pacific Court, where the suspect was struck by another vehicle and then drove onto the grass median on SW Pacific Hwy. Police ended the pursuit at this time and later found the suspect’s truck in a parking lot at 16200 SW Pacific Hwy. Witnesses then helped police identify the driver. 

July 7: 8:13 p.m. – A 36-year-old man was arrested for DUII-Alcohol in the 6800 block of SW Nyberg Street. 

July 9: 12:11 a.m. – A 63-year-old man was arrested for DUII-Controlled Substance at the intersection of SW Lower Boones Ferry Road and Bridgeport Road.

6:23 p.m. – A 36-year-old man was arrested for strangulation, a felony, following a domestic disturbance in the 19600 block of SW 65th Avenue. 

10:00 p.m. – A 44-year-old man was arrested for DUII-Alcohol and reckless driving in the 8000 block of SW Seneca Street. 

July 10: 1:19 p.m. – A 31-year-old man was arrested for DUII-Alcohol on Interstate 5 near Exit 293. 

July 11: 3:45 a.m. – A 46-year-old man was arrested for first-degree sex abuse, second-degree kidnapping and distribution of a controlled substance in the 6600 block of SW Sagert Street. 

8:42 p.m. – A 28-year-old man was arrested for second-degree criminal trespass and on outstanding warrants in the 20100 block of SW 58th Terrace. 

July 13: 10:08 a.m. – A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 6400 block of SW Rosewood Street. 

11:21 a.m. – A Honda SUV was stolen from the driveway of a residence in the 22000 block of SW Grahams Ferry Road. 

8:07 p.m. – A 26-year-old man was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree assault following a domestic violence incident in the 19400 block of SW 68th Ave. The suspect reportedly injured his girlfriend by throwing a container at her and striking her in the face. 

July 14: 5:01 p.m. – A 43-year-old woman was arrested at Fred Meyer for second-degree theft after being caught shoplifting. 

5:09 p.m. – A man stole a purse from inside a business in the 18700 block of SW Martinazzi Ave. The purse contained a about $200 cash, a handgun and numerous credit and debit cards, as well as a driver license. 

7:56 p.m. – A 26-year-old man was arrested for second-degree theft at the 5.11 Tactical store after shoplifting merchandise. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia was seized. 

July 15: 12:55 a.m. – An unknown subject stole a victim’s wallet after he left it in a shopping cart at Fred Meyer. The suspect then made two fraudulent charges with two of the credit cards from the wallet. 

10:23 a.m. – A person called police to report the loss of two firearms within the last two years from a location in the 6400 block of SW Nyberg Lane. The person was unable to confirm if the firearms were actually stolen or not. 

July 16: 12:33 p.m. – A 42-year-old woman was arrested in the 7700 block of SW Nyberg Street on a charge of second-degree theft for embezzling money from her employer.

July 17: 1:40 p.m. – A 35-year-old woman was arrested in the 6700 block of SW Bradbury Court on charges of fourth-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and second-degree criminal mischief after threatening the victim with a hammer and breaking out their car window. 

July 18: 8:38 p.m. – A 34-year-old woman was arrested in the 16900 block of SW 65th Ave. for driving under the influence of intoxicants. 

11:35 p.m. – A 40-year-old woman was arrested for felony fourth-degree assault and violating probation following a domestic disturbance in the 19700 block of SW 65th Ave. Both parties to the altercation were injured.

July 20: 4:03 a.m. – A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUII-Alcohol at the intersection of SW Mohawk and Boones Ferry Road. 

4:09 a.m. – A 19-year-old man was arrested on Interstate 5 for DUII-Alcohol, Reckless Driving and Attempting to Elude Police.

July 23: 1:04 a.m. – A 38-year-old man was arrested in 20500 block of SW 115th Ave. on charges of first-degree theft from a vehicle, possession of burglar tools, third-degree criminal mischief and probation violation. 

July 25: 2:24 a.m. – A 45-year-old woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 18300 block of SW Boones Ferry Road. Methamphetamine was later found in her purse at the Washington County Jail, leading to an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance. 

2:35 a.m. – A 47-year-old man was arrested for DUII and driving while suspended, both felony charges, after being stopped at the intersection of SW Durham Road and SW 72nd Ave. 

9:42 p.m. – A 35-year-old man was charged with second-degree theft for shoplifting at a business in the 19200 block of SW Martinazzi Ave. 

July 26: 9:01 p.m. – A 33-year-old man was arrested for second-degree theft after being caught shoplifting at Fred Meyer. He also had outstanding warrants.
