May 1: 7:50 p.m. – A 59-year-old man was issued a citation in lieu of arrest after stealing gravel from his neighbor multiple times. He was previously trespassed from the location.
May 3: 12:47 p.m. – A 42-year-old man was located and arrested driving a stolen U-Haul truck in the 18000 block of S.W. Martinazzi Ave.
A man and woman were verbally fighting outside of the Century Hotel on S.W. Tualatin Sherwood Road. Police investigated the possibly domestic case but were unable to determine that a crime had occurred. Although the man was found to have a bloody nose, the statements between both parties are inconsistent and do not mention how the man received the bloody nose.
A Tualatin resident found an unknown substance in her apartment after her adult son moved out. Suspecting it may be illicit drugs, she turned the substance into police for destruction.
May 4: 3:41 p.m. – A woman reported that an unknown person stole multiple credit cards as well as cash from her vehicle, and then attempted over a thousand dollars’ worth of fraudulent charges at the Sherwood Target.
May 5: A man and woman were called in by witness for a domestic dispute. Subjects were uncooperative with police and no crimes were determined.
An unidentified man appeared to have been taking photos or videos of women.
May 8: 12:30 a.m. – A 28-year-old woman was arrested for burglary and theft after entering a home through a window and stealing items from said home in the 8000 block of S.W. Mohawk St.
May 9: 2:29 p.m. – A man attempted to purchase a firearm but was denied due to a prior felony conviction.
May 11: 7:53 a.m. – A turquoise Dodge Caravan was towed after being left on the street for months in the 19000 block of S.W. 68th Ave.
A vehicle collided with a pedestrian in a parking lot outside of FedEx on S.W. Tualatin Sherwood Road.
May 12: 2:29 p.m. – A 27-year-old man crashed into a person’s vehicle and then fled the scene on foot at the intersection of S.W. Tualatin Sherwood Road and S.W. 124th Avenue.
May 14: 4:18 p.m. – A 30-year-old woman was issued a citation in lieu of arrest after stealing a speaker from the Tualatin Best Buy. Loss prevention prevented her from stealing a second one.
5:01 p.m. – A 47-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were issued citations in lieu of arrest after each stealing over $700 in merchandise from the Tualatin Fred Meyers.
11 p.m. – A caller reported received text messages telling him to pay $500 dollars or his mother wouldn’t be safe.
May 15: 2:05 p.m. – A man reported an unknown suspect had broken into his pick-up truck in the 18000 block of S.W. Lower Boones Ferry Rd. and stole his handgun, which was stored in the glovebox.
3:59 p.m. – Two unidentified subjects entered Ulta Beauty on S.W. Nyberg Street, concealed ladies’ perfume and exited the store without paying.
May 16: A man reported that his female neighbor had been engaging in suspicious activities during the middle of the night, including dumping bleach on his porch.
May 17: 12 a.m. – A caller reported that an unknown suspect fraudulently applied for unemployment benefits through the State of Rhode Island using the caller’s personal information.
2 a.m. – Unknown suspect “keyed” a person’s vehicle during the night on the 11000 block of S.W. Tualatin Rd.
May 18: 5 a.m. – Unsecured vehicle was taken while the owner was in the Burn Boot Camp gym on S.W. 65th Avenue. Vehicle was tracked and recovered in Portland with the suspect in custody.
May 19: 8 p.m. – An unidentified man stole approximately $615.69 in fish oil supplements from the Whole Foods Market on S.W. Bridgeport Road.
11:30 p.m. – Unknown subjects moved the surveillance camera view at the Bridgeport Village parking garage.
MAY 21: 12:51 p.m. – An adult passenger jumped out of his vehicle with a 40-ounce beer bottle acting aggressively towards a driver that followed him into the Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center parking lot. The driver of the second vehicle then displayed a small pocket knife in reaction to the man with the bottle.
May 24: 7:55 a.m. – Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for disobeying a traffic control device at the intersection of S.W. Nyberg Road and S.W. Tualatin Sherwood Road. The vehicle stopped momentarily at Interstate 5 Southbound before the driver drove off. The driver continued onto I-205 Northbound when he picked up speeds as high as 95 miles per hour. Just prior to Exit 6, the driver passed traffic using the left shoulder and after coming back into the lane, lost control of the vehicle causing the vehicle to slide sideways into the wire median divider. Before colliding with the median, the suspect side-swiped another vehicle and sprayed a third with the rock debris. The driver then got out and ran across the southbound lanes into a nearby West Linn neighborhood. The driver was eventually caught and identified as Yaya Kolley, a 41-year-old man. Mr. Kolley was taken to Meridian Park Hospital and has been charged with Attempting to Elude a Police Officer in a Vehicle, Hit and Run and Reckless Driving.
7:28 p.m. – A man reported that he and another man engaged in mutual combat fighting.
A caller reported that they found methamphetamine in the guest room of a home in the 17000 block of S.W. McEwan Rd.
MAY 26: 3:30 p.m. – There was a verbal and physical argument between a man and woman resulting in the man sustaining a small cut to his ear. The 41-year-old woman was arrested for Domestic Violence.
MAY 29: 4:38 a.m. – A woman reported that a 28-year-old man choked and threatened her and audio evidence of scuffle was collected. The man was arrested for Strangulation and Menacing.
7:07 a.m. – An impaired 19-year-old man crashed his 2001 BMW vehicle into several mailboxes and property on S.W. Grahams Ferry Road near S.W. Ibach Street. The crash was witnessed by two people.
8:56 p.m. – A highly intoxicated 42-year-old man intentionally damaged property that did not belong to him, while also burning his ex-girlfriend’s clothes on his stove. The fire the subject started caused damage to the stove, hood vent and wall and could’ve potentially spread throughout the apartment building in the 18000 block of S.W. Boones Ferry Rd.
MAY 30: 8:19 a.m. – A woman was denied her purchase of a firearm at Cabela’s in the Nyberg Rivers Shopping Center. Further review of the denial shows she could legally possess and purchase a firearm.
MAY 31: 3:54 p.m. – Three unidentified suspects stole two iPhones from the display table at Best Buy.
