Dear Tualatin Chamber Members and Partners,
Susan served the Tualatin Area Chamber of Commerce in many leadership roles over the past decade, including Board Chair, Past Board Chair, and Business Advocacy Council(BAC) Chair. She was also a driving force behind many Chamber events. Susan helped create memorable experiences that brought our business community together.
Her dedication went far beyond any title. During some of the Chamber’s most challenging times, Susan was a steady, committed presence who helped the organization move forward.
Susan wore her commitment to the Tualatin community on her sleeve. She believed deeply in the Chamber, our businesses, and the importance of bringing people together. She was a mentor to many, encouraging others to get involved, step into leadership, and lend their voices to our work.
Those who worked alongside Susan will remember her passion, her leadership, and the genuine care she brought to every conversation and connection. Her voice and presence will be deeply missed. The impact of her service will be felt for years to come.
On behalf of the Tualatin Area Chamber of Commerce, our Board of Directors, and our members, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Susan’s family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.
To recognize Susan’s extraordinary service, the Chamber will name an award presented at our annual Excellence in Business Awards Banquet in her honor: the Susan Noack Volunteer of the Year Award.
We will also honor Susan through a special volunteer day at the Juanita Pohl Center’s Thanksgiving meal on Tuesday, November 24. Chamber members and friends are invited to share lunch with a senior between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. or volunteer to prepare and serve the meal. Please sign up at tualatinchamber.com/events.
We are also partnering with Meals on Wheels People to honor Susan’s commitment to senior citizens.
