Winona Grange holds its traditional Harvest Festival Saturday, October 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Grange Hall, 8340 SW Seneca St. The free family afternoon features harvest-themed crafts, a photo booth, an old-fashioned cake walk, local farm information and much more. Kids will decorate pumpkins to take home. Join the fun costume parade and play Harvest Trivia. Free ice cream sundaes and the raffle drawing cap off the event.

Costumes can be fall-themed or a preview of your Halloween costume, but to keep our family-friendly atmosphere, please don’t choose anything threatening or scary. Encore women’s chorale will lead a sing-a-long of fall favorites. The group rehearses regularly at the hall.
Participate in all of the events to gather as many free raffle tickets as you can. During the ice cream social, we will raffle off prizes and family experiences at many popular places in our area.
First organized in 1895 to bring isolated farm families together, the Winona Grange has long been a place for local residents to meet. It has been around longer than Tualatin has existed as an incorporated city. After the hall was built in 1940, Winona Grange has held countless workshops, festivals, breakfasts, dinners, dances and plays for the community. Each spring, the Grange “Seeds and Bees” one-day gardening event gives away seeds and starts for the new planting season.
Visit winonagrange271.org for more information, including hall rental details. Current users of the building include quilters, a puzzle exchange group, horse owners, choral singing, Irish dance classes, Irish music, social dances, watercolor painting workshops, ukulele jamming, and “nosework” training for canines.
