Mayor knighted as honorary Rosarian

Since their founding in 1912, the Portland Royal Rosarians have served the City of Portland by Proclamation of the Portland Mayor as “The Official Greeters and Ambassadors of Goodwill” for the Rose City.  It has been their custom to bestow Honorary Knighthood upon many Dignitaries, Worthy Citizens and Friends of Rosaria around the world. 

The 2024 Prime Minister of The Royal Rosarians, Mike Ware, oversaw the ceremony, which, after member nomination, honored Mayor Frank Bubenik to an exclusive group of individuals, which includes Astronauts, Movie Stars, TV Personalities, and Military and Government Leaders.
