Meet new people, make friends and take an adventure this fall with the Juanita Pohl Center, Tualatin’s Active Aging Center! The Pohl Center offers a variety of new and exciting classes for active adults, Monday to Saturday! From day trips to lifelong learning classes, fitness to delicious catered meals, there’s something for everyone looking to get active and learn something new this fall!

Take an adventure on one of our active adult day trips to OMSI After Dark for spooky education, enjoy the culinary delights of PASAR authentic Indonesian food, and celebrate the beauty of the Pacific Northwest with a beginner-friendly watercolor class in Hood River! Day trips are a fun and engaging way to stay active, build friendships, and strengthen social connections—all while enjoying new experiences together.

Experience the benefits of exercise and keep your mind engaged during Active Aging Week! This annual event celebrates how positive the process of aging can truly be and encourages adults ages 50+ to take advantage of all that life has to offer. Join us for a walk & talk on the history of Tualatin, experience the benefits of Nordic walking, learn about foods to fuel a healthy lifestyle, and practice the basics of pickleball, all for free during the week of October 7-10, 2025.

Looking for a healthy, delicious meal in a welcoming and friendly environment? Join us at the NEW Juanita Pohl Center Meal Program, Tuesdays and Fridays at 12 p.m. Enjoy a catered meal, make new friends, and connect with your neighbors! Donations are encouraged but not required. The recommended donation is $5. These valuable services remain possible due to your contributions.
