Tualatin Scouting America Troop 530 and Cub Scout Pack 35 are proud to sponsor a Water Rockets Rally – a FREE event for all youth.
The event will be held at the Tualatin Community Park Train Trestle Shelter from September 9, from 6 – 8 p.m. Activities include building a high-performance rocket vehicle with various common craft materials and an empty 2-liter soda bottle – then test flying it. Safety tips and learning about aerodynamics’ scientific principles, force and motion will be explored. Youth between the ages of 6 and 17 years old are invited to participate. Bring a friend. Snacks provided.
