Tualatin Neighborhood Ready

Join us for a public presentation!
Saturday, February 8, 3-4:30pm
Tualatin Library Community Room

The Tualatin Neighborhood Ready program brings important safety information to you, your family and the community.  It provides critical information about emergency preparedness for a variety of potential disasters we may face: wildfires, ice & wind storms, long-term power loss, flood, earthquake, and chemical accidents.

Join Tualatin neighbors for a public presentation of the Neighborhood Ready program.  Representatives from our local Fire Station 34 have been invited to join us and welcome you with a short Q&A period.

A free workbook and several topic-specific handouts will be available.
The Neighborhood Ready presentation topics include:

  • Risks we may face from potential disasters in Tualatin
  • Making a Family Plan
  • Water storage
  • Assembling Go Bags
  • “Shelter in place” supplies and storage
  • Gathering important documents
  • Home safety
  • How and when to shut off utilities
  • Wildfire evacuation levels
  • The value of connecting with your neighbors

Mother Nature’s challenges haven’t been slowed or curtailed!  For our safety and resilience, we must keep preparing for potential disasters and emergencies. Tualatin Neighborhood Ready provides information, tips and encouragement to help you take steps ahead of time.  We look forward to seeing you on February 8!
