Tualatin’s best event for brews, music and friends is back! Stickmen Brewing in Tualatin partners with the Tualatin High School PackBackers to host the Tualatin Winter Brew Fest. Stickmen will have have craft beer and wine from 20 different breweries/wineries to sample, great food, and live music, and it all goes to a great cause.
Stickmen brewing has curated a list that includes not only their own excellent beers, but also other breweries, ciders and wineries. Local food vendors ranging from Beez Neez Sausages, Lasabrosita and Nothing Bundt Cakes will be on hand to meet nearly everyone’s tastes in addition to their own excellent pizzas.
On top of the great food and drink, there’s an awesome variety of local live music. Everything from the Tualatin High School jazz band, to 80’s and 90’s rock from local favorites Aftermarket, David Pollack, Castletown, and a DJ to cap things off.
The best part of the Brew Fest is that it’s raising money for a great cause, the Tualatin High School Packbackers. The Packbackers are the athletic booster club for Tualatin High School, a non-profit parent run organization that helps to buy many things including cheer mats, volleyball stands, track equipment, and band uniforms for 1200 each year. If there’s a ball on the court, pitch or field, the Packbackers probably raised the money to pay for it. And you can be a part of that! Sarah Mattecheck, current Packbacker Vice President says, “Our organization works with athletic director Ted Rose to fund as much as we can to keep students engaged in extracurricular activities. With so many needs and the diversity of activities at the high school it’s great to have this event to bring our community together to celebrate and support our students.”
