Student Library Cards

WCCLS and Tigard-Tualatin School District have teamed up to make sure that every TTSD student has access to the library! These library cards give our students access to thousands of books, e-books, audiobooks, online homework help, and more!

Storytimes are Back!

Storytimes are back in full swing at Tualatin Public Library. All storytimes are held in the Community Room. Check out our calendar for more information.

Book Babies Storytime, Mondays at 10:30 am: Calling all babies and their caregivers! Join us for a special lap-sit storytime designed specifically for babies. Perfect for ages 0-18 months.

Tiny Tots Storytime, Tuesdays at 10:30 am: Tiny Tots is specifically designed for new walkers and wiggly young toddlers. Lots of singing, dancing, and moving our bodies. Perfect for ages 12 months-2.5 years.

Family Storytime, Wednesdays at 10:30 am: If you like to sing songs and get silly with stories, come to Family Storytime! Perfect for all your little ones ages 0-8!

Preschool Storytime, Thursdays at 1:00 pm: Join us on a storytime alphabet adventure! Stories and rhymes celebrating all the letters. Perfect for ages 3-6 years.

6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Held in the Teen Room

Teen Relaxation Evening

Friday, January 26, 6:00 – 8:00 pm

January is the start of a stressful school period, so we are making time for you to rest and relax! During this event, we will paint by numbers, try face masks (if you want) and drink hot chocolate and eat snacks!

For students in grades 6-12. Held in the Teen Room.

Taphouse Trivia

Tuesday, January 30, 6:00 – 7:30 pm

Join Librarian Doug at Stickmen Brewing (19475 SW 118th Ave STE 1, Tualatin, OR 97062) every final Tuesday of the month for several rounds of trivia! Enjoy fabulous drinks and pizza, as well as prizes for the winners!

Teen Unlucky in Love

Are you spending Valentine’s Day alone this year? Single or taken, we invite you to join us to play games, enjoy snacks, and have fun! For students in grades 6-12.

Calling all LEGO Maniacs! Click with brick expert Molly for exciting LEGO challenges. She provides the LEGOs, you provide your imagination and ideas!

For kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Held in the Makerspace.

Heart Felt Crafts!

Make your very own heart shaped pin! Give it to someone, keep it close or wear your heart on your sleeve. For adults and teens. Held in the Makerspace.

Goodwill Job Connection Fair

Tuesday, February 13, 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Held in the Community Room

Connect with local employers who may be offering the perfect role for your next career move. Goodwill Job Connections will have information about their helpful services for job seekers. Check the Tualatin Public Library calendar to see a list of employers who will be attending the event.

Peter and the Wolf Storytime with Windsync

Thursday, February 15th, 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Held in the Community Room

WindSync brings classical music to life with an unforgettable cast of characters. Complete with costumes and choreography, this engaging performance introduces the five wind instruments of the orchestra and concludes with an exciting retelling of Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev. Graciously sponsored by Chamber Music Northwest. For preschool-age children.

Origami

Saturday, February 17, 12:00 to 3:00 pm

Make folded paper creations with the Portland Oregon Paper Shapers! Challenge yourself with a complex origami masterpiece, or keep it simple while learning the basics. For all ages. Held in the Community Room.
