In 1994, my husband and I found Tualatin to be an ideal location to raise our family, with its wonderful parks and trees, proximity to Portland, safety and community. Today, I am excited to announce that I am running to be your next Mayor.
Working closely with Mayor Bubenik as Council President has shown me what it takes to advocate for our city, listen to our residents and secure funding. I want to bring that same dedication to lead Tualatin into its next chapter.
Grounded in Financial Expertise and Service
As a Certified Public Accountant and former business owner, I have the skills to manage city finances responsibly and hold our service providers accountable.
I believe in giving back to my community and am a life-long volunteer I currently serve on the boards of four different community organizations.
My journey in our city government began on the Tualatin Parks Advisory Committee, which gave me the experience to help lead the effort to pass our $25 million parks bond, proving that we can dream big and deliver for our families.
Trusted Leadership on City Council
I have served on City Council since August 2019. My peers on Council have twice elected me to serve as Council President, showing confidence in me to show up to meetings, ready to listen as well as speak up for our residents and local businesses. As your Mayor, I promise to lead with that same collaborative spirit.
My Vision for Our Future
- Thriving Local Business: Through my work on the Downtown Revitalization Committee, I continue to help determine how strategic investments will transform our city center into a thriving destination, and spark sustainable economic growth. I will continue to support community feedback to bring in food cart pods and a local farmer’s market.
- Smart Infrastructure: I am actively working to fix traffic flow, improve safety, and explore improvements to our public transit. I currently serve on several transportation committees and am proud of my efforts to stop tolling on I-205.
- A Sustainable Community: I built the consensus for our Climate Action Plan and its enactment to protect our environment, livability, and implement cost-saving improvements.
- An Inclusive City: I championed the creation of our IDEA Advisory Committee because everyone in Tualatin deserves to be heard. I fully support the Citizen Involvement Organizations (CIOs) as a vital connection with our neighborhoods.
Let’s Build Tomorrow Together
My campaign is built on a simple promise: total commitment, continuous advocacy, and practical solutions. I have the unique financial skills, hands-on city experience, and compassion to lead us forward on day one.
I look forward to earning your vote. More importantly, I look forward to working hard every day to listen to your needs, protect our neighborhoods, and build a safer, more vibrant Tualatin for everyone.
Please join me for my campaign kick-off from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on June 27 at the Tualatin Heritage Center, 8700 SW Sweek Drive, Tualatin. Reservations: prattfortualatinmayor@gmail.com
