Friends of the Tualatin Library Used Book Sale returns after long hiatus

After a long break from selling used books in the library and at bigger sales to the wider community due to the pandemic, the Friends of the Tualatin Library are back in business selling books!

The Friends will host a one-day pop-up sale of fiction books for adults and kids on Saturday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the plaza in front of the Tualatin Library, 18878 S.W. Martinazzi Ave. in Tualatin. The sale will feature hardcover and paperback fiction only for adults and kids of all ages, including graphic novels and works by beloved children’s authors Beverly Cleary, Beatrix Potter and Roald Dahl. Cash. Credit cards will be accepted for payment. Masks or face coverings will be required in the sale and check-out areas.   

Another outdoor sale featuring non-fiction books is planned for August and will include travel books and Northwest and local interest items. Stay tuned for more information about this sale.

The Friends have also resumed selling books, DVDs, CDs and magazines on the sale shelves in the library. Please feel free to stop by the sale area on your next visit to the library. Payment is cash only and on the honor system.
