The City of Tualatin is excited to announce it has been awarded $225,000 from the State of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, Local Government Grant Program. This funding will be matched by the City to renovate the 25-year-old splash pad located in the Tualatin Commons pubic plaza.
Plans for the renovation include new spay features and colored concrete surface. These new features where chosen by the public during an outreach held at ¡Viva Tualatin! This public engagement ensures the renovation meets the needs and desires of the community. A big thank you to everyone who connected with us!
The project is in the early design and permitting stages, and is construction is expected during the winter of either 2020 or 2021.
