Do you like to sing? Do you want to meet new and friendly people? If so, you might like to visit with the members of the Conchords Chorale, a community choir that has been around for more than 25 years. We are based in Tualatin – this year, we’ll be rehearsing at the Juanita Pohl Center. There are two sessions each year – in the fall, the focus is on holiday music, and during the spring session, the themes vary from Broadway to the movies to our theme for this past spring of songs from Disney, including music from Aladdin, Coco, Little Mermaid, Newsies, Lion King & more!

Performance is very much a part of the year with the Conchords. The group’s mission has always been to sing for seniors, so many of each season’s performances are held at senior living facilities in the area. There are also a couple of public performances each season.

The Conchords Chorale is always looking to find new members who share a love of music. Many of our members come from Tualatin, so you may run into someone you know if you would like to sit in on a rehearsal or two. Members need to be 18 or older. You can get more details from board members concerning dues, attire and music while visiting a rehearsal. You can also check out our website: conchordschorale.org. Rehearsals for the fall session are just starting and continue each Wednesday evening, starting at 7:15 PM at the Juanita Pohl Center 8513 SW Tualatin Road, inside Tualatin Community Park. Follow the signs to the back of the main road.
