Riverpark’s Community Fair at Jurgens Park
Join the fun at our 3rd Annual Fair on June 1 at Jurgens Park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This family-friendly event is for residents of the Riverpark Community Involvement Organization (CIO).
The City recognizes and partners with six residential CIOs and one commercial CIO. This event is funded by a “Neighborhood, Cultural, Social and Recreational” grant from the City, which makes it free for all members, including everyone who lives in the Riverpark area. At the Fair, we will vote for Board members and welcome new volunteers.
This year we are providing a light lunch of BBQ hotdogs and snacks, while they last. Several nonprofit groups will present their services and offer giveaways such as plants, seeds and books. The history of Tualatin will be on display, as will art and news from the Riverkeepers. Learn about what you should do to be ready for any emergency from your local CERT and Neighborhood Ready teams. The City booth is popular for information regarding city services, and all seem happy to meet the police K-9 units. At Jurgens, your children can check out the beautiful new playground equipment, and the CIO provides craft activities. This is an opportunity to meet your neighbors and celebrate Spring and our wonderful community.

Únete a la diversión en nuestra 3ra feria anual el 1 de Junio en Jurgens Park de 11am a 1pm. Es un evento para toda la familia para los residentes de la Organización de Inclusión Comunitaria de Riverpark.
La ciudad se organiza con 6 CIOs residenciales y 1 comercial. Este evento es patrocinado por la subvención financiera “Comunidad, Cultural, Social y Recreacional”, lo que lo hace gratis para todos los vecinos del área de Riverpark. En la feria podrás votar por los miembros de la Junta y aceptamos nuevos voluntarios.
Este año tendremos una pequeña cantidad de BBQ hotdogs y snacks. Muchas organizaciones sin fines de lucro ofrecerán sus servicios y regalos como plantas, semillas y libros. Mostraremos la historia de Tualatin, así como arte y noticias de los Riverkeepers. Además podrás aprender qué hacer en caso de emergencias con los miembros de CERT y Neighborhood Ready. La ciudad tendrá información sobre sus servicios, y todos estarán felices de conocer a nuestros perros policías. Los niños podrán disfrutar de los nuevos juegos en el parque. Ésta será una gran oportunidad para conocer a tus vecinos y celebrar la primavera y a nuestra maravillosa comunidad.
