Live from Tualatin High School, it’s ALMOST Saturday Night! Our Advanced Theatre students had the unique opportunity to develop original scripts and refine their playwriting skills throughout this production, receiving valuable, real-time feedback from their theater teacher and peers along the way. In addition, returning Advanced Theatre students took on leadership roles as directors and producers, guiding each sketch from page to stage.
Inspired by the iconic television series Saturday Night Live, Almost Saturday Night Live brings the spirit of sharp satire, bold characters, and rapid-fire humor to the live stage. Audiences can expect a lively collection of original, student-created sketches designed to entertain, surprise, and keep the laughs coming. The show also features playful parodies of pop-culture favorites, including Clue, The Karate Kid, Weekend Update, Shrek, Mario Smash Bros, and so much more!
