Winter in Tualatin has its own rhythm, and one of the most anticipated beats is the return of the Tualatin Winter Brew Fest. Now in its seventh year, the event has grown into more than a tasting experience — it’s a gathering that brings together neighbors, local businesses, and supporters of Tualatin High School in one shared space.
What began as a small community fundraiser has evolved into a well-loved regional event, drawing 800 to 1,000 attendees each year from across the greater Portland metro area. While craft beer and cider remain at the heart of the experience, the real draw is the sense of connection — people showing up to support students, programs, and one another.
This year’s Brew Fest features a diverse mix of seasonal and specialty offerings from more than 20 Pacific Northwest brewers, cider houses, and vineyards. The lineup reflects the depth of the local craft scene and offers attendees the chance to explore new flavors while revisiting familiar favorites.
Behind the scenes, the Tualatin High School PackBackers — the school’s athletic booster club — have been working alongside Stickmen Brewing and event sponsors since last summer to bring everything together. Their efforts help ensure that the event runs smoothly while keeping the focus on its larger purpose: supporting student opportunities.
Food will once again play a central role in the experience. Stickmen Brewing will be serving its popular wood-fired pizza, while Four Corners Grilled Sandwich Co. will offer soups and sandwiches. An additional food cart will be added, giving attendees even more options to enjoy throughout the event.
Live entertainment will keep the energy up throughout the evening, featuring AfterMarket, Tualatin’s own local “dad band” — a group made up of dads whose students attended Tualatin High School. Additional local entertainment will be announced soon. Returning by popular demand, axe throwing from Celtic Axe Throwers adds an interactive element that has become a fan favorite.
The event’s silent auction will once again be available online several days prior to the Brew Fest, allowing community members to browse and bid early. The auction features a wide range of donated items and experiences, further extending the impact of the fundraiser beyond event day.
Proceeds from the Tualatin Winter Brew Fest directly benefit the PackBackers, supporting athletic programs, facilities, and activities at Tualatin High School, including dance, cheer, and band. With more than 1,200 students participating in these programs, ongoing fundraising is essential to keeping these opportunities accessible and well-supported.

The PackBackers board is made up entirely of parent volunteers whose dedication and fundraising efforts make a meaningful difference each year. Their work — and the success of this event — would not be possible without the continued support of the community.
The Brew Fest is also made possible through the generous support of sponsors and donors, most notably Stickmen Brewing, which has partnered with the PackBackers since the event’s inception in 2018. Additional sponsors include Reser’s Fine Foods, Les Schwab, Republic Services, Kai/Kershaw, and Grocery Outlet–Bridgeport Village.
Advance tickets are available online through January 30th for $30, with tickets priced at $35 at the door. Parking is shared with neighboring businesses, and attendees are encouraged to follow posted Brew Fest parking signage.
