The stage is set, the brews are confirmed, and the final details are falling into place for the 5th Annual Tualatin Winter Brew Festival!
Drawing more than 1000 attendees from across the greater Portland Metro Area each year, the festival has quickly become a favorite of beer connoisseurs. With seasonal and specialty offerings from 20+ local brewers, cider houses and vineyards, it is a true celebration of craft brewing.
Working together with Stickmen Brewing and presenting sponsor Tualatin Auto Body, the Tualatin High School PackBackers have been working behind the scenes since last summer to make this year’s festival another success.
In addition to the seasonal brews on tap, a variety of food will be available, including Stickmen’s woodfired pizza and other offerings from four local restaurants.
The exceptional Tualatin High School band will perform and the rest of the evening will be a fun and vibrant mix of music from our favorite DJ, Robert Richter from Excel Talent!
The brew festival is a major fundraiser for the PackBackers, Tualatin High School’s athletic booster club, with proceeds supporting TuHS sports teams, facilities and athletic programs, as well as dance, cheer and band. More than 1,200 Tualatin students participate in these programs and funding is always a concern, which is why the PackBackers exist.
“An event like this is a great opportunity to bring our community together while raising valuable funds for Tualatin High School Packbacker affiliated teams/programs.” says Cindy Murphy, current Packbacker Board Member and proud parent of a student athlete.
The board is made up of a small army of parent volunteers whose fundraising efforts have amounted to thousands of dollars contributed each year, but none of it would be possible without the support of the community!
The event is also made possible by the generous contributions of sponsors and donors, most notably this year’s presenting sponsor, Tualatin Auto Body, and Stickmen Brewing who has partnered with the PackBackers to host the event since its inception in 2018. Additional sponsors for the event include Republic Services, State Farm Agent Brian Koenig, Kershaw Knives/Kai USA, Les Schwab Tires, Riverview Bank, Farmers Insurance agent Troy Noland, and Unitus Community Credit Union.
Buy online and save, $30 advance tickets (end midnight, on Friday 1.26) , $35 at the door. Parking is shared with neighbor businesses, look for BrewFest parking signs.
