Tualatin Downtown – Your Ideas Matter
You are invited
On Thursday, September 25, the Commercial CIO (CCIO) is hosting a Zoom call at 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. We need your ideas of how to revitalize our downtown. All property owners, businesses, employees, and/or Tualatin residents are invited to participate. This is a fact-finding meeting with elections to the CCIO board to follow.
Who is hosting this meeting
The CCIO is an all-volunteer powered organization that provide targeted support on behalf of our businesses and residents. Membership is free and automatic for any business with a Tualatin business license or any commercial property owner.
Why is important
In November 2022, the Development Commission adopted the Core Opportunity Reinvestment (CORA) plan. This urban renewal area, comprised 457 acres. (For detailed information, go to tualatinoregon.gov/economicdevelopment/tualatin-downtown-revitalization). The Tualatin Downtown Revitalization plan will identify specific actions by the City and businesses to strengthen the economic vitality of central Tualatin while considering social and cultural factors.
