Survey will help shape youth substance use programs

Are you a parent or guardian of a student in kindergarten through 12th grade living in Tualatin? If so, Tualatin Together wants to hear from you!

We’re conducting a short, anonymous survey to better understand community perspectives on youth substance use, misuse, and abuse. Your feedback will help guide our efforts to strengthen protective factors that support youth in Tualatin—and reduce the risks that may be holding them back.

Tualatin Together’s mission is to create a collaborative community that empowers, educates, and engages young people to reach their full potential by: Building resilience; Growing leadership skills; Helping youth find their voice.

Since 1991, Tualatin Together (TT) has worked to support healthy choices and prevent youth drug and alcohol use. With recent federal cuts to our prevention funding, it’s more important than ever that we focus our limited resources effectively. That’s where your voice comes in.

By taking this survey, attending a community data-sharing and planning session, and spreading the word, you can help create lasting change for youth in our community.

To support this initiative, our Data & Resource Workgroup is partnering with the Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC) at the University of Wyoming. WYSAC has developed a custom survey specifically for Tualatin.

Access the survey on our website (available in both English and Spanish) by visiting tinyurl.com/ycw6md4f, or scan the QR code below.

As a thank-you, you’ll have the option to enter a drawing for a $100 gift card!

Survey responses will be analyzed by WYSAC and shared with our workgroup. We’ll present the findings and outline next steps at a community gathering in late September or early October.

Stay connected through our website and social media for event updates.

Together, we can build a healthier, stronger future for all Tualatin youth.
