Macrina shares her home with her dog loves Libby, Lola, and Simon. Since starting at Tigard Animal Hospital, Macrina has played a vital role in all areas of the hospital from receptionist to technician to administration duties. She would say that no matter what her job that day is, being there for clients and patients during the happiest times and the hardest days drives her passion for animal care.
Alex Thurber is the president of the Byrom CIO and a technology executive who has lived in Oregon for 30 years. He and his wife Courtney have six children, three of whom are in the Tualatin school system. Alex is active in local civic affairs and has been a pilot for most of his life. He ran for Tualatin City Council in 2020.
Chad Darby, founder of NNC, has been a resident of Tualatin for 18 years with his wife and two daughters. NNC was founded in the belief that a dedicated group of neighbors can ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food.
Sara Shepherd is the Center Supervisor at the Juanita Pohl Center, Tualatin’s Active Aging Center. The Pohl Center is committed to providing recreation, lifelong learning, nutritional, socialization and cultural services essential to the promotion and enhancement of personal well-being and a sense of community.
Margie Yemoto-Greene is the part-time executive director for The Foundation for Tigard Tualatin Schools, the only nonprofit that fundraises for all 16 Tigard-Tualatin School District schools.
Andrew R. Boehm, PhD is an archaeologist with the University of Oregon, Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
