Winona Grange holds its annual Harvest Festival Saturday, October 25, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Grange Hall, 8340 SW Seneca St. The free family afternoon features harvest-themed crafts, a photo booth, an old-fashioned cake walk, local farm information and much more. Kids will decorate pumpkins to take home. Join the fun costume parade and play Harvest Trivia. Free ice cream sundaes cap off the event.

Costumes can be fall-themed or preview your Halloween costume, but in keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, we ask that costumes not be threatening or scary. For a schedule of the afternoon activities, see winonagrange271.org.

First organized in 1895 to bring isolated farm families together, the Winona Grange has long been a place for local residents to meet. The Winona Grange has been around longer than Tualatin has been incorporated. Having marked its 130th anniversary in September, the Winona Grange has held countless workshops, festivals, breakfasts, dinners, dances and plays for the community over the years. This year, Winona Grange sponsored a twice-monthly Gathering Market on Sundays, which included local farm products.

Today, Grange membership includes backyard gardeners and urban dwellers who buy local and try to keep abreast of issues that affect our food supply. The Grange is currently accepting applications for membership.
