Scouting BSA Troops 35 and 530 will cover the entire city on Saturday, Dec. 28 and Jan. 4 to pick up Christmas trees for recycling. Trees need to be curbside by 8:30 a.m. and will be picked up between 9 a.m. and noon on both days. The suggested donation is $12 for smaller trees (six feet and under) and $17 for anything larger. If you do not receive an informational envelope in December, please make checks payable to “Scouts BSA” and place in any envelope attached to the tree. To prevent donation theft, a scout will knock on your door when they pick up your tree if no envelope is attached to the tree.

Tualatin Scouts, Holiday Season, Christmas TreeA drop-off site will also be set up both days in the north parking lot of Tualatin High School, 22300 S.W. Boones Ferry Road.

The funds raised help with outdoor activities such as camping and hiking and also help individual Scouts earn their way to summer camp.
