Tualatin Softball Little League will host the District 4 All-Star Little League Tournament for ages 8-10 and 10-12. Seven teams will play in double elimination, and the winner of each age group moves on to the State Tournament. Winning this tournament is the first step to playing in the Little League World Series broadcast on ESPN.
Games will be played at Tualatin High School on the Freshman, JV, and Varsity Softball fields. The tournament runs Monday, June 26, through Thursday, June 29, with the possibility of Friday, June 30, if needed. As of now, all games are slated to start at 6:00 p.m., with teams and fans able to arrive as early as 4:30. Snack Shack will be open, grilling up burgers and hot dogs and selling all kinds of snacks and treats to support Tualatin Softball Little League.
This is the first time Tualatin is hosting this tournament, and it will draw a lot of people to Tualatin. Tualatin Little League would love the community’s support to come out and cheer on our teams. They are also still looking for volunteers, and anyone interested in volunteering at the tournament can email president@tualatinsoftball.com. Volunteer opportunities include the Snack Shack, scoreboard, announcers, and hospitality. The All-Star teams were created through a competitive tryout process designed to select the best players from each age group in our league. The players below come from a mix of 6 of our regular season teams.
