Tualatin is set to come alive with vibrant colors, lively music, and a celebration of diverse cultures at the annual Viva Tualatin event. This free, one-day festival will be held at a new location this year. The fun happens on Saturday, July 13, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Tualatin Community Park.
Viva Tualatin highlights the rich tapestry of the city’s diverse community. This year’s event features an array of live performances including Aztec Dance by Huehca Omeyocan, Ballet Folklorico and Charreria by Noche Cultural, and a concert by the Latin/Cumbia band A Cara O Cruz.
In addition to the performances, the event boasts a wide variety of cuisines and food trucks. Attendees can indulge in flavors from around the world, sampling dishes that reflect the city’s diverse community.
Art enthusiasts will enjoy the unique treasures offered by talented artisans and vendors. From clothing and jewelry to pieces of art, there is something for everyone to appreciate and take home.
Viva Tualatin is more than just a celebration of Latino culture; it’s a day filled with fun activities for all ages. Children can enjoy smashing piñatas, sliding down a giant water slide, playing lawn games, and expressing their creativity through liquid chalk art and a giant coloring mural. Craft stations, face painting, and free kids’ books add to the festive atmosphere.
Don’t miss out on this vibrant celebration of art, culture, and community spirit. Join your neighbors and friends at Viva Tualatin on July 13 at Tualatin Community Park, and experience the rich cultural heritage that makes our city unique.
