Northwest Dance Theatre Presents: The Nutcracker

Northwest Dance Theatre brings Tchaikovsky’s beloved winter ballet to life in this abridged version. Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Nutcracker soldiers and yes, the Rat King will dance the story at our Hearth. For all ages.

Music at the Hearth: Another Glory

Another Glory is the musical duo of guitarist and vocalist Nathan Trueb (TangoAlphaTango) and drummer José Medeles (1939 Ensemble, The Breeders, and many more). What you’ll hear: Americana reminiscent of rambles down a railway track, echoes in a vintage mechanic’s shop, captured with slide guitar and textured percussion. For all ages. Held at the Library Hearth.

Las Posadas

Las Posadas is a traditional celebration held between December 16 and 24 in Latin America, Mexico, and some parts of the United States. Celebrate this winter holiday with us in the Community Room! For all ages.

Santa’s Elf Training Course 101

Do you think you have what it takes to be one of Santa’s elves? No? Well, then this training course is the perfect class for you! Join us at the library and learn all the basic skills required to become one of Santa’s helpers. Please wear appropriate festive attire!

Noon Year’s Eve

Get ready to sing and dance to all of your favorite songs! The Awesome Possum Party Band is a new, feel-good family music project from Oscar Murden, formerly with the band Micah and Me. We’ll perform fun, upbeat originals and songs that your kids know and love from their favorite movies, all while celebrating the new year!
