Portland Baroque Orchestra presents an afternoon of music with Artistic Director Julian Perkins, violinist Adam LaMotte, and viol player Adaiha MacAdam-Somer.

Modern childhood is different. Parents, if you’re looking for ways and resources to support your child’s mental health, this afternoon is for you. Hear powerful stories from other parents and youth. Learn hands-on practical tools you can use. Presenters from NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) of Washington County and author Tara Rolstad will bring resources, stories, and more.
Appropriate for parents of school-age children, adults who work with kids, and students. Registration recommended (see the library website or call); lunch provided.
Big Truck Day

Backed by upright bass, classical guitar, and keys, singer Kelli Schaefer brings a lush and slightly haunted tone to her inventive music. Compared to both Nick Cave and Bjork for blending emotional depth and influences from folk to electronics, Schaefer’s music crosses genres and has established her as one of Portland’s finest artists.
