President of Ibach CIO. He and his family have lived in Tualatin since 1973. He helped found the CIO program, Wetland Conservancy, and the Tualatin Chamber of Commerce. He also has served on the Tualatin Visioning Committee, the Tualatin Area Aging Task Force, Tualatin Lions Club, Veterans memorial task force, and fundraising for the Caring Closet.

Has been a volunteer with the Tualatin VFW Auxiliary for many years, and organized the community picnic. His father served in both WWII and Korea, so Daniel honors his memory by helping at the VFW Auxiliary. After work you often see him cycling on a road bike with friends, staying fit and healthy.
