Matt Lembke was a 2005 graduate of Tualatin High. He joined the Marines and served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. In 2009, he lost his life after being critically injured on his last tour. His parents, Dale and Claudia, started this scholarship as a way to honor and remember Matt. It is an honor to be able to continue to share Matt’s legacy with you through this scholarship.

One of our recipients, Manasi, said, “Corporal Matthew Lembke is a hero whose legacy continues to grow and positively impact the Tualatin High School students he preceded. He is a role model, whose honor, courage, commitment and service to others should be held in the highest of regards, and should be a standard that we at TuHS, strive to attain.”

This year, we are excited to announce nine recipients for a total of $32,000. These awards would not be possible without the strong community support for the Regatta Run. This brings our total after 10 runs to $188,500.00. We hope that you’ll join us in October for the next run.
