Get in the Christmas Spirt at the Heritage Center’s Family Friendly Holiday Event, Dec. 16
Even the Grinches in your life will love Tualatin Historical Society’s flash-back 1950’s-style family Christmas celebration featuring Tualatin High’s Crimsonnaires choral group and a real St. Nick (Nicholas Hamilton) whose mother and grandparents grew up on Hazelbrook Road.
The Heritage Center will be decked out for the holidays, featuring a lighted tree with vintage decorations and gifts, and this year, a special porcelain collection on loan from board member April Wicker. Enjoy hot beverages and Christmas goodies.
If your Christmas shopping is not complete, consider our collection of local history books, famous Tualatin jam, annual memberships, or even an engraved brick for a lasting tribute to family or friends on our patio.
The event is from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, at the Heritage Center, 8700 SW Sweek Dr, Tualatin. Pianist Rachel Zike will be playing Christmas music from noon to 1 p.m. The Crimsonnaires perform at 2 p.m. Parking is available at the police station lot next door.
