Library Card Signup Month
September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month! If you’re reading this, we hope that you have a card already. And you probably have been using it to check out books and movies at the Library. Are you ready to try some power moves and learn a new language with Mango, visit a local cultural attraction through Adventure Pass, or perhaps the biggest flex of all – tell your friends that they should have library cards, too!
Storytimes are back for Fall
The Library’s storytime schedule is back for this fall, with a range of storytimes designed for the developing needs of young children. Monday morning’s Book Babies features lap-sit time, while Tuesday morning’s Tiny Tots has lots of movement and songs to keep the attention of wiggly toddlers. Family Storytime, held on Wednesday mornings, offers stories and activities for a range of ages. Preschool Storytime on Thursday afternoons prepares kids for school with alphabet-based stories and silly times. See the library website for times.
