It is a profound honor to seek a third term on the Tualatin City Council. For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of serving the community I love, listening to our residents, building strong partnerships, and working together to make Tualatin an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
I am proud of what we have accomplished together. During my service, Tualatin adopted a Climate Action Plan, passed the Parks Bond, and strengthened support for our Library so it can continue providing vital resources and services to everyone in our community, particularly those who need them most. We renovated and reopened the beautiful Las Casitas neighborhood park, expanded our parkland, improved access to the Tualatin River, and made strategic investments that protect the exceptional quality of life that makes Tualatin special.
Ensuring that people can afford to live in Tualatin has also remained a priority for me. By supporting developments such as Autumn Sunrise and Plambeck, we have expanded opportunities for individuals and families to make Tualatin their home. I believe a thriving community must have a place for people at every stage of life, and I will continue working toward practical, attainable housing solutions while preserving the character and livability of our neighborhoods.
There is still important work ahead. Over the next four years, I will focus on revitalizing our City Center, completing the Parks Bond projects, implementing our Transportation Plan, strengthening public safety, and supporting local businesses and economic development. These investments are about more than projects—they are about creating a more connected, resilient, welcoming, and prosperous Tualatin for generations to come.
My experience as a nonprofit executive has taught me the importance of listening, bringing people together, managing resources responsibly, and turning vision into results. I bring that same collaborative and accountable approach to my service on the City Council. I believe good local government begins with listening to the people we serve and ends with delivering meaningful results for our community.
Tualatin is more than the city where I live. It is my home, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve it. I am proud of where we are today, optimistic about where we can go, and ready to continue the work we have begun together.
I respectfully ask for your vote and the opportunity to serve Tualatin for another four years. Together, we can build on our progress, meet the challenges ahead, and continue creating a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving community where everyone has the opportunity to belong and call Tualatin home.
