Aug. 7, 1946 – May 26, 2023
Katie Bailey, the leading light of her family, died Friday, May 26, 2023, at age 76. Katie was exceedingly empathetic, with compassion for all living things. She was a strong supporter of social justice, and advocated against nuclear power plants. Nobody could have been more devoted or given more love to her family than Katie.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; sons, Eric and Kevin; her grandchildren, Melody, Taryn, and Cooper; and sisters, Judith and Jeanette.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., June 24, 2023, at the Tualatin Elks Lodge.
