Middle Eastern Style Cooking Class. Tuesday, January 17, 6:30-9 p.m. Prepare and share a five-course meal inspired by countries of the Middle East using high-quality, fresh ingredients. $75 for Tualatin residents.
Everyone Is An Artist: Exploring Watercolor. Wednesdays, January 18 to March 8, 1-3 p.m. This class will explore watercolor painting, materials, techniques and practices with a bit of art history and brain gym thrown in. A materials fee of $20 is due to instructor on first day of class. Pregistration required. $60 for Tualatin residents.
Chalk Painting (ages 18 and up). Saturdays, January 21 to February 18, 1:30-p.m. Learn the basics of using chalk paint and walk away with your own projects. Fee includes art supplies. $53 for Tualatin residents.

New Technologies Meet Ancient Fossils, Thursday, January 19, 7 p.m. Julian Gray, CEO of the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in Hillsboro, explores how micro-photography and new software can open up our eyes even more to the world of small gems, minerals, and fossils. He will focus on Pleisto-cene artifacts at the museum. $3 suggested donation for adults.
Treasures from the THS Attic. Wednesday, February 1, 1 pm. Tualatin Historical Society when Archives Committee members share a variety of unique items that reflect Tualatin’s rich and colorful history. You will hear what the artifact is, how it was used, who owned it, and who donated it.

BICYCLING
The Great Ride Series – Saturday mornings at 9:00am. Beginner level starting and ending at Performance Bicycle Tualatin. The ride is for beginners, those getting back in the saddle, or riders who want to add some variety to their cycling. The ride will last approximately one hour, and will go at an average pace of between 12 and 15 miles per hour. We’ll explore some of the local bike paths and some residential routes, as well. “No Rider Left Behind” ride. Annual Snowball Daddy/Daughter Dance Friday, February 10 and Saturday February 11, 6:30-8:30 pm. Dads will dance the night away with their daughter(s) ages 3 and up.
